My daughter has been back in school since January 2nd. We took off all the ornaments on our Xmas tree yesterday and put it out to the curb for recycling. I always find this time of year kind of sad. Be gentle with yourself and your kids.

My husband bought tickets to a Barry Manilow concert at the Fox a few years back and I was almost embarrased. How could he drag me to see someone that old - did he think I was a retro groupie or something? It ended up being a fantastic concert - so much fun singing along to his many hits. The Mandy = dog story is indeed an urban myth but the man is a legend. Have fun with the gig!
