I'm glad you love UBC and Vancouver enough to miss them when you're not there. I hope you continue to have good experiences there.

You make me long for my college days and I'm glad you are having a happy experience. Sounds like you found the perfect college match.

Aww, Kelsey, now I'M feeling sad for you too! Like Donna said, your comments are bringing back the memories of my own college days. I danced the Nutcracker Ballet every December and it was awful, just awful leaving it all behind to go back to my family in suburban Kansas, where no one cared about dance or performance. The year I had the lead, the highs, the solo curtain calls, the dozen roses were so exhilarating, it was like living in a different world. The ensuing lows ("you're just plain Terez, 7th of 8 kids back here, and if you're going to mope around, do it in your room") really really sucked.
The good news: you get to go back! (As did I!) I'm so happy for you that you've had a great semester. It's so much fun to read your comments here. And remember, when you're back home, away from your friends, there's always US, here at v.com! : )
