Thanks for the pictures. It looks like a fun concert. I'd love to see some photos of the beautiful campus you've described, too. Congratulations on passing your midterms and having a successful concert.

Rock on Kelsey! I can just hear the acoustics you described. I have a little place like that too, that I don't use enough--I make myself play in other acoustics to work on projection and stuff. But when I do, well--I related immediately to what you wrote.

Congratulations on your mid-terms too!

Also, savor your experiences there--they will be with you forever--I learned my first formal classical guitar in college, and it just started opening door after door after door in my music. Not so much in opportunity ways, but in a candotiveness that is evolving even more nicely with violin.

And stay organized! ;)...

I'm sure you'll do great and I'm so glad that you enjoy being on the UBC campus so much. I'm not surprised though.

As for midterms, I always felt that they tend to be a lot harder than the finals. In most cases teachers use midterms to test the water --> you the students and how well you are likely to do for the rest of the term. Not that you need to worry about this, but failing students is one of the hardest things for any prof (even the meanest) to have to do, so whenever they can help it, they'd rather not to. Another thing profs hate is grade appeal and almost certain that most failing students will appeal...

Oh, how much I wish I’d be back to UBC again!
