That's just amazing Emily . . . yet another masterpiece to grace the pages of v.com. :) Lovely! What is the medium, is it colored pencils? Wow, I look good as a dog! Emily that is wonderful. I at first thought it was the beautiful job you did with contrast, then realized in not only successfully but wonderfully capturing the dog's personality you have officially 'said' something with your art. Very nice and it looks like colored pencil (with maybe a watercolor wash?) This is color pencil on a blue-grey paper. The wet fur just about drove me crazy, but I think my time in the practice room helped me there, with the repetitiveness and the much-needed enduring focus.

I sure like my dog. With all the training we put into him, we've developed a very high level of communication, which gives him almost human-like qualities. On this day, Ben was sitting obediently on the shore while George fished, but he really wanted to be out fetching fish instead.
