i thought enigmatic ocean with holdsworth was the best thing he did - ive always loved jazz fusion with violin

I also have a copy on cassette of Enigmatic Ocean, but Cosmic Messenger is also a great album with funky music, electric violinsolo's, quitarsolo's and even bass solo's. He played some old number I recognize from Enigmatic Ocean (1977) and Cosmic Messenger (1978) I think Ponty is the best Jazz-violinist. He was better than Nigel Kennedy that evening and also better than Stephan Graphelli, I think. Here is his website: http://www.ponty.com
