You’ll need a lot of rain gear for Vancouver fall and winters, my dear:) I remember when I was at UBC, everyone worn Gortex and the Mountain Co-op was always the busiest store in town. I know! But I can still wear the shiny shoes for a lot of the summer and have them stashed in my locker so I don't have to wear boots around the music building all day! I'm glad your hand is starting to heal. I think you're using your temporary disability very wisely -- to focus on smoothness and clarity while playing slowly. You've turned lemons into lemonade.
