Ow. Sunburn and fire ants. I feel your pain.
One of the tricks I use to protect myself from the sun is to wear a jeans jacket when I'm tooling around town. Denim keeps off all UVA and UVB rays. It can get a little sweaty, but it works. I also keep a tube of sunscreen in my purse at all times.
Last year, two of my adult lady students, one in her forties and the other in her fifties, had big chunks of flesh carved out of their legs in order to remove skin cancers. Nasty stuff. Please protect yourself.
Also, I heard the fire ants are marching North.

I should add that yesterday was another day I could not teach at the middle school-scoliosis screening. And a teacher or twoa at my elementary decided my class was a "club" and wasn't meeting for the rest of the year (even though we are performing this morning...) Sigh...
