Oh, Patricia, what a wonderful, touching post. And hey, my father turned 81 on April 2. Your post reminds me that I'm lucky to still have him. (Lost Mom 16 years ago, tho - sounds like we're in a similar cycle in life.) Interestingly, my dad had no interest in the violin or having me play it, but he's always loved classical music. Nice to have one if you can't have the other. Most of all it's nice to have memories, yes?
