I heard Philippe Quint in concert about 2 years ago. He was great! Glazunov concerto and Sarasate Carmen fantasy, and Nel cor piu non mi sento for dessert. :) Absolutely dazzling virtuosity, nice expressiveness too.

Yes he is. I also play this day as 2th amateurviolinist the violinconcerto of Glazunov. Tomorrow the 1th of 3 concerts. For the rehearsals I drove every week 230kilometer and the same distance back.
