Aah! You know the Myaskovsky concerto! I have that piece (the result of a lot of rooting around in musty libraries!) I love it and can't wait to have enough spare time to learn it!

Yay, Carla and Maarten! Thanks, Bram for telling us about it and posting photos. I almost feel like I was there. Your dark photo may be salvageable. There is probably a lot there that you can't see, and Photoshop can work wonders with this problem. If you're interested, please write to me, and I can help.

I asked a colleague, who has photoshopping on his computer, but he told that it was difficult to get that dark photo better. He thought it would become grey. But perhaps you can copy and paste this photo from my weblog, Pauline, and improve the quality of it. Furthermore I was bad clothed with that T-shirt. A blouse with short sleeves or a poloshirt would be better. Because I mostly has few time for my blogs, because I write them in my lunch, I forget to tell that Maarten van Veen drummed with his hands on the piano during a virtuoso piece of Piazzolla, as encore, and his sheet music fell down backwards in the piano. So the girl who turned the pages stood up and put his desk upricht on the piano. Carla had found this rare music searching in a sheetpapershop Broekmans and van Poppel, for example an early piece of Bartok he wrote when he was in love.
