Really enjoyed this entry, Kels. My money's on Cho, too.

I agree about that one player, but I think it started to come unglued during the Bach. Might have been a repeatedly squeaking E string that set it off. But - I could tell she's actually an unreal player. Before it started to go, her Bach was the most interesting thing I'd heard so far, by far. You should have pretended to be in Indianapolis. If you win the blog contest, I doubt you'd have to prove you were actually there :)

Lol, Jim! I think Laurie knows I live no where's NEAR Indianapolis and that the chances of my being there in person would be slim.

Nice entry Kelsey, sadly my english is no so good and i must be out of the blog, but my money is in you, in Indy Competition Jinjoo´s perfomance was no soo good IMO, a lot of intonation probelm, all the time E string was out of balance, but she is a amaizing player with a great recovery power, i guess in semifinal will be her moment. The best to me tiil now: Coucheron, Lamsma, Yura Lee, Choi and Roman Patocka.

Congrats! You win a T shirt! Yes, anyone who writes a thoughtful blog on any aspect of the competition is eligible. So don't be shy! I was not able to go, even though I had planned on going. So I'd love to hear about every aspect of this event. That includes analysis from people watching, and also descriptions of various events associated with the competition.
Thanks for a great entry!

By the way, I'm looking for a winner every day. That means every day, everyone has a chance of winning a T-shirt. ;)
