Blech! Sorry you feel bad! As others have suggested, you should eat lots of chicken soup--and also drink lots of hot tea (preferably sweetened with honey since honey can help kill germs.)
In China ginger is very popular against colds. It was my violin teacher in Darmstadt who told me to do boil water with ginger in it, filter and drink with honey. It works more or less...

Ha, thanks for all the well-wishing and sympathy. Now I feel silly, since I was only a bit buggy for a couple of days. Saltines and ginger ale for two days, then good ol' chicken noodle for supper, and everything's all back to normal. Almost...
