And again, Emily Carr comes to mind... if you can find her drawings (more rare than reproductions of her paintings, and her books), you might enjoy her driftwoods... Very evocative, and they don't sit still! Amazing. I tried to see the originals in Victoria B.C. again, but they'd been moved to Vancouver B.C. I was told...
