Hindemith, quite rare. I am a bit jealous. I know Le roi David from him. Why has Joshua Bell not got an Oscar for best music in the Red violin? That would be a good reason for him to see him in the Oprah Winfreyshow, Sydney.

In terms of his playing, nothing happened. It's just the whole inane medley thing -- complete with kickin' drum beat. Maybe I'm too much of a purist, but I find it a bit disconcerting to see Perlman doing these things. It was obviously not as bad as Metallica and the San Francisco symphony, but still cringe inducing.
