Enjoyed reading about your Hawaii trip. It must be quite the jolt to return to the cold and dark. Guess that's where all the pretty pics you took come into play. Thanks for sharing one with great holiday color!

I'm cold. Yeah, yeah. 15 degrees isn't cold, what am I talking about? I have terrible circulation, though. Every time someone touches my hands, they are like "Your hands are like ICE!" Mom thinks it's because I have low blood pressure, I think I have some horrible, incurable disease.

Pauline, the top one is red ginger, just like the spice, and the bottom one is called a lipstick plant becase the fruit contains a red dye used to color lips.

A facelift plant could save a lot of people a lot of money.
