I have a recording of this, vieuxtemps is awesome OK Tastes differ and you might say you dislike his beard, but now you are insulting my big violinhero, who was a close friend of Jeno Hubay who orchestrated posthumus the 7th violinconcerto of Henri Vieuxtemps. Some people say Vieuxtemps is a bit sugary and a second rank composer, but I think he was the best composer for violin. Listen to the second part of his 7th violinconcerto. Perhaps I am a bit of romantical typ or too emotional or womanlike sentimental, but I can't keep it dry when I listen to that second part of his 7th violinconcerto, played by Gerard Poulet.
