Cool, Bram! I have his autograph on my program of his concert. Did I tell you already--my son has his signature on his ukulele. He also has a signed albumcover where Josh wrote, "practice hard! --Joshua Bell" Hold on to those autographs, Bram. They may bring you lots of money if you decide to sell them later. I know someone who sold his Beatles memorabilia, which he collected when he was a teenager, for a lot of money recently. It sounds like a fun way to get rich. ;-) I like his playing, but this guy puts out the most boring covers on his discs time after time. How many photos of Mr Bell looking wistfully off into the distance can one man be expected to take. I love zigeunerweisen! Eric, I think one should blame the record label, not the performer, for the photos. Incidentally, Decca recently re-released all their old Joshua Bell stuff with new photos that will probably be more to your liking. :) Why, is he smirking suavely while pointing a finger at the camera and winking? Hey baby, I might have to buy a copy of that one. Emily, I meant more to Eric's liking...and somehow I don't think he'd have a similar reaction to such a pose. :) No, in the re-releases he's looking at the camera and smiling like an all-American guy. Except in the Kreisler album, where they've got an action shot that shows his wonderful bow arm.
