The cantatas are Bach's best stuff by FAR. By FAR far. An excellent complete set was being produced when I was in school and they were in the music library. Back then it was about a million bux on vinyl, but you could probably buy the whole thing now bootlegged on a Chinese DVD for $5.

Someday I'll have to finish my libretto for Gott, Mein Luck ist Gebroken.

I thought this was a joke at first (especially with the reference being BMV211, instead of BWV211) but he actually wrote it. I not only found reference to it in New Grove, but also found a number of recordings in the Classical Music Library which my uni has a subscription to. I love it - it's my favourite cantata as well now :>

I downloaded the mp3 some time last month, but am still in the midst of searching for the CD recording. The record store here doesn't have much variety when it comes to non-contemporary music. :(
