If a soloist wanted to take over my orchestra while I was standing there, I think I'd have a few good in-jokes of my own prepared come concert time.

I saw Zuckerman perform recently (hr played all Brahms). He does have an enormous presence! Also, you could see clouds of rosin wafting in the spotlight. We were in the front row!

If you think Zuckerman plays well now, you should of heard him at the age 15,playing in Meadowmunt School. He was natural, and propably one of the most talented students Galamian had!...
