If you like Animal Farm you may want to try Darkness at Noon next. Or if you want to stick to Orwell (worth doing!) he wrote a number of other books outside of his essays that are good reading. Burmese Days is good fiction, Down and Out in Paris and London is excellent as well. I'm a big Orwell fan. Pretty much everything he wrote but Clergyman's Daughter will get a good review from me, but those two tend to be more accessible. What are you playing? I love 1984!!!
