Infuriating indeed! Hey, I got my schedule. Sorry to keep bugging you, but was the conductor you mentioned at the beginning Barg? Just curious. Yes, Sydney, I was referring to Barg. Who else would say things like that? ;-) The conductor of my community orchestra says things like that frequently. ;-) Oh...okay then. Yeah, Mr. Barg was the only conductor to speak to me in Russian, talk to me at the salad bar, tell me to "live in a cubicle and only come out when you feel like it", and kiss my hand after the concert. And I wasn't the concertmistress (in fact I was the last row of second violins, many thanks to random placement).
