I felt like that when my nanna passed away. You find it hard to move on, but eventually the pain dulls. I'm not sure whether it ever goes away, or whether you just learn to deal with it. But they will always be there, in your heart, and you'll always remember who they were, and how much you love them.

My condolences Jenni, it took me a while to realise that my cousin passed away, two days before my birthday.

It was probably the most sombre birthday of my life, and somehow, along with the rest of my family, we were all numb and felt as if he was still alive and laughing. But, as you said life goes on and it really does.

He'll be in the room with you whenever you play the music he loved best. On the saddest days when I miss my dad, I play his favorites, cry, and end up feeling better. Play for him every day, and peace will come.
