A few weeks prior to the YouTube Symphony summit I was interviewd over Skype by Wilson Fernando Vega Rivera, a reporter from El Tiempo in Colombia, South America. The interview went up last night, and here it is!

This afternoon I got to sit up close and record Gil Shaham rehearsing the complete Finale from Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5, K. 219 with the YTSO. And a first time ever (for me, at least) I was encouraged to record the whole thing on my Flip camera!
My Day 3 Vlog includes a clip of a surprise performance of Elliott Carter's Clarinet Quintet by the Juilliard String Quartet and an interview with 19=year=old Polish violist Pawel Czarny.

Greetings to everyone from the YouTube Symphony Orchestra Summit! Yesterday was the first day of the summit, and everyone came together for a delicious dinner in the penthouse of the Parker Meridian Hotel, just down the street from Carnegie Hall.
