July 2007I love Prokofiev sonata #1Published: Jul. 5, 2007 at 1:06 PMLast modified: Jul. 5, 2007 at 5:46 PM I love sonata #1 by Prokofiev cause I like the algid and disturbing melodies and atmosphere as sharp as a knife. Recently I've been listening to this music for a week without getting sick. Especially in the evening it sounds much more disturbing than in the morning and makes me shake for beauty and terrible images it provokes inside me. Especially in the first movement there are the scales for violin and a kind of disturbing nursey rhyme for the piano like a film horror: a mother while rocking the cradle during a snowy russian winter without knowing the baby is dead. In spite of this I can't do less to listen this because I like these terrible immages of death. Ok..and now I gonna go to listen to it.
Brahms is going better and betterPublished: Jul. 17, 2007 at 7:44 PMLast modified: Jul. 17, 2007 at 7:48 PM I have just finished the first phase of study of Brahms concerto and I'm happy because I'm confident it is gonna be better and better. After the first phase of memorization of notes fingering and bowing (3rd movement is powerful) I have to put together all the pieces and "chisel" all the rough material still existing. I'm happy to know that things can go in the right direction with the time! I belive in something! in the progress
