Alina TaslavanQuestion about becoming a violinistMay 8, 2012 07:30
I would like to know If a violinist like Perlman or Hilary Hahn have ever studyed a lot of armony, music history, or they just practised a lot and had lessons with important musicians. ConfusionMay 8, 2012 06:44Violinists friends, I need your help.I am Romanian,I studyed in Romania since I was 6 years old to 18. When I finished High School Music in Romania I came in Italy so now I study in Cosenza "Conservatorio di Musica Stanislao Giacomantonio", but I have so many lessons of theory and armony and music hystory, choir and many others that I do't have time to practise the violin and if I miss this lessons the teachers don't let me to make the exams so I can't pass for the next year, they don't care how I play. So I need some ideas. Where I can go? What I can do? And I want to add the fact that I don't have very much money and I am with scolarship. I don't care about thouse lessons , I want to practice violin, I am a violinist. Probably you will tell me that thouse things are important, yes, they are, but I already studyed them in Romania and here they ask you to know everything at the level of one who wants to become musicolog or composer. The system is not very good. So..please give me ideas about what I can do? What would you do in my place? |
