When I woke up that is what the thermometer read. Along with my nauseous stomach my head aches, dizzyness and all over body aches I think it is an acurate number. Consiquently I still went to school, and tomorrow I have a concert for the 3rd graders trying to get them to play an instrument so I have to go in then too. I just hope I feel better soon...

In less than one month I'll be 16!! Meaning I can legally get a Permit!!!! Yay! I can't wait!

lucky you-not about being sick I mean ; >_but about turning sixteen...I turn sixteen in like um... a little over six months but where I live you can't get a license till 18--so the only thing I get from being sixteen is a) getting to drink coffee (it's funny a -to him not to me- rule my Dad has that you can't drink coffee till 16) and b) I have a better chance at getting hired for a job and c) since I'm a girl probably a big birthday party---*sniff* sniff*

Why did you go to school when you were sick?

Emily,
Emily, there are a few reasons I went to school.

1. I kinda like school (shocking I know lol.)

2. When I am absent it takes me about a week to make up work and notes.

3. I have an important orchestra rehearsal tonight and if I didn't go to school my parents wouldn't let me go.

It wasn't so bad though, a lot of teachers were out so we had subs all day and we didn't do much. I am thinking about taking a half day tomorrow if I still feel this bad.

So many people were sick probably because other people go to school when they are knowingly ill and give their ailment to everyone else. It's a good idea to stay home when you are ill. You recover more quickly that way, too.

Gee, I sound like a mother, don't I?

I do hope you are well soon. Drink lots of liquids and eat chicken noodle soup.

Lol, I wish I could have stayed home, there are just some days (exspecially with my course load) that I MUST go.
