I'm Back! :)

August 21, 2006 at 10:16 PM

Well I am back from states. We got 3rd (out of 12 marching bands) which isn't too bad but obviously everyone wanted to get first. But it was a bunch of fun. But unfortunetally no pics of the violin yet :(. My camera needs batteries (and it takes those really expensive ones that you can never find. So I am going to go look for them tommorrow and I hope I can find them. But I can still tell you about it! :) It was repaired by Gregory Docenko, I found him off of v.com and he is in buffalo. You can barely see where it was broken, but you can see where one of the cracks where near the pegs. But the other ones are hidden. He also adjusted my sound post and now it doesn't sound so harsh (exspecially the A-string, the one that was very shrill). And I was very happy that it only came to $100 (plus shipping!) :)
