![]() Day after Orchestra, Audition, Concert Tonight.May 31, 2006 at 8:28 PM Yesterday I had my first Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra rehursal. It was no less then amazing. I had never known that there was so much talent in such a little area. They were low on 1st violinists so I chose to be a first violinists, but God the music is sooooo hard, But i think with a little practice it should be fine. I also got contacted about my audition today, but I still and Searching for a piece, and I want to wait until after finals (only 3 more years of high school left). And tonight I have my Concert band concert. We are playing First Suite in E flat for Military band, D'eir in De, and the Incredibles. I am serving as Principal Tuba player (just dont tell anyone that I am the only one lol). But I am so nervous because I have a duet, But I personally work best under pressure. As Always I enjoy reading your comments. C'ya.*Violins Make the World go Round* From Carley Anderson
Tsk. I live about an hour and a half from Canandaigua. I have told my parents we needed to move to Rochestra. Hmph. Now one more reason they should have followed my advice. :D (j/k) Really, though, it's too bad I don't live closer. It sounds like great fun, and I'm quite envious! :) Best wishes for you!Posted on May 31, 2006 at 9:26 PM (Oh, and for the other readers of the blog: I found a link here for the FLSO. :D In case any of you wanted it.)
