Short and Sweet

March 22, 2006 at 10:43 PM

Ah, another lovely day is paradisial Florida; hot, muggy, and oh-so disgusting. The library then feels the need to refrigerate the study area. Walking from the study coralls inside to the patio outside is like stepping from the sub-Arctic into the tropics.

That can't be right.

I only practiced for a little more than an hour today at the university. The room is pleasantly live, which makes me happy. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to hear all those great bowing mistakes I like to make. I'm thinking of practicing another hour when I finish writing here. And since there doesn't seem to be much to write now, I guess I'll go do that.

Reminds me of Kansan summers. I HATE humidity! What would I give for warm weather now, though...? Apparently this is the coldest, longest winter in 100 years. Last time we were here, it was the hottest summer in 400 years! What gives???
