![]() September 15, 2005 at 10:32 PMI am very unique;I don't like getting compliments on my playing. Well, my teacher and conductor, I love compliments, but other people...I dunno. I never have. When I was five and had to play for my grandparents, I always asked them not to clap for me when I was done, cause it embaressed me. To get to the point, I'm still being mobbed over that performance. I really can't believe it was THAT good, but I don't know...I haven't heard it. I have lessons tomorrow, and I can't WAIT to show my teacher my octave etudes. They are VERY very good. I have to run and order some new music now. Kreisler, kabalevsky, *drools* here I come!

Knot, I would reccomend therapy...JK! I know what you mean, though. If people other people that actually understand the instrument and what "good" is congratulate you, I doesn't mean as much.

I understand how you feel...but it was probably really terrific, if people are still...er, drooling over you, if I can steal your phrase...
