![]() the tip of the iceberg... after all, its 4 am in ohio... Lol *UPDATED COLOR?*November 12, 2009 at 9:26 AM Hello! I am The Singing Violinist. I started playing violin my senior year of high school and fell in love with it. I am now 21 and have never been more in love with it. If I'm not in class, sleeping, online facebook youtube or here, I'm probably playing violin;) I lie awake at night because I want to be playing violin at 3 am... I often dream about violins... I'd like to become a luthier or a collector of violins someday. But for now, I'm a Jazz Vocal Ed major and loving it. Plus, my teacher, Claude Black is having me learn jazz violin. Which gives me even more reason to love my baby-er, violin... hahaha! More randomness. I'm adopted from south Korea, and by association I'm also Irish, French, and German. I'm obsessed with any kind of anime that involves Violin-of course, the paranormal, vampires, or romance. La Corda D'Oro is one of my faves. I'm in elementary Japanese and loving it! I think its rather funny that I'm more interested in Japan than my own country of origin. I'm bewildered why I'm not more interested in SK, but Korean is not offered at my college-I think... Also, in a ways, its too depressing to think how much my birthmother suffered and how painful it was to give me up at birth... Thinking about it now and writing about it is bringing tears to my eyes. I'm very lucky and I'm grateful to her. Ok, on a lighter note, I love making people happy, I don't like competitions, emoting through violin playing is my passion, I love Monti's Csárdás, want to learn Wieniawski's Polonaise in A major(getting the music this week!!) and sweet on a boy in my music theory class with a natural talent for jazz piano. See y'all soon, Mae From Stephen Brivati
Posted on November 12, 2009 at 7:59 PM Greetings, I would love to read your blogs but pink barely shows up on a computer screen.... Cheers, Buri From Christopher Liao
Posted on November 12, 2009 at 11:44 PM Look up Nodame Cantabile, the anime version (screw the lame drama version they did). Trust me, it's a lot more legit than La Corda d'Oro. Much more realistic plus a great story. Believe it or not, this series really developed my love for music. Good to see a fellow anime-enthusiast on v.com. :) From Elinor Estepa
Posted on November 13, 2009 at 1:28 AM I second with Buri--gee wiz, it hurt the eyes..though, best wishes to you. Very good blog. From Bart Meijer

Posted on November 14, 2009 at 5:17 AM I think I fixed it. Ha ha. Thanks for the anime. I'll have to check it out. See you soon! From Karen Allendoerfer
Posted on November 14, 2009 at 12:16 PM Thanks for fixing the color. I almost gave up on the pink too. But you have a lot of interesting stuff to share, so keep writing (in black). From Mae Sattler
Posted on November 16, 2009 at 2:31 AM Ha ha, I copied and pasted it from my other blog on latesatartermusician.com... i guess it copied the color? I couldn't figure out how to change it here, so i gave up. then after you asked me to fix it i had a thought, what if I copied it and pasted to my AIM messenger and changed the color? It worked, but not after 15 or so minutes of trying to copy the blog from this site.... Point is i got it fixed. See you soon! This entry has been archived and is no longer accepting comments. |
