Just another December day in Alaska, yes? : )Posted on December 20, 2005 at 2:26 PM Enjoyed reading about your Hawaii trip. It must be quite the jolt to return to the cold and dark. Guess that's where all the pretty pics you took come into play. Thanks for sharing one with great holiday color!

Ahh if only I could suck the warm weather out of these pictures and into my office.

I'm cold. Yeah, yeah. 15 degrees isn't cold, what am I talking about? I have terrible circulation, though. Every time someone touches my hands, they are like "Your hands are like ICE!" Mom thinks it's because I have low blood pressure, I think I have some horrible, incurable disease.

Same with me but I smoke and that's why. Don't ever take it up.

Pauline, the top one is red ginger, just like the spice, and the bottom one is called a lipstick plant becase the fruit contains a red dye used to color lips.

not to be confused with eyeliner plant and facelift plant.

A facelift plant could save a lot of people a lot of money.
