My video performance of Schubert's 'Ave Maria'

September 9, 2011 at 8:09 PM

Hi Friends,

This was the last piece I played on my recital the other night.  The Ave Maria by Schubert is definitely one of my favorite works to play.  The violinist August Wilhelmj arranged this work for violin and piano.  He also made excellent violin transcriptions I think to Chopin's Nocturne in D, and the Bach Air.  I've been working on Ave Maria for years but never seem to get tired of playing it.  Anyway I hope you like this performance!

Best wishes,

Thank you Nate. It's great of you putting your recitals up.
