![]() There is nothing about Paganini in this blog. Or Ysaye.March 5, 2008 at 11:51 PM My daughter has had the flu for several days, so I stayed home today. She is liking the couch potato thing a little too much, so it's definitely time to go back to school. I enjoyed being a couch potato too, but I have to back at school, as my string students have Festival on March 12. If my charges can curb their behavior tendencies, we should do ok. Then, that afternoon, I have an interview for an elementary music position in a much smaller rural distict. Symphony is next week. Again, we are short on rehearsals. Then a week later is a brief excursion into North Carolina to visit friends for spring break. That's being paid for by a couple church gigs and a rescheduled gig at Phillips arena. OK. Time to deal with a hysterical four year old.

Oh it's such a bad flu this year. Did YOU get it? I hope not! I just baked, with such a high fever. I'm still spacey from it. And coughing. Cough cough. My kids did not get it, thank heavens. Rumor has it that this year's flu shot didn't work, but, knock on wood, I think it DID work for my kids. (I had no shot!)
