Big ol' trucks; lane shifts; orange barrels; concrete walls for 5 miles. Blech. The second violinist wins. I cannot possibly play any louder. Do not ask me to play louder. Note to self: "I will not crunch...I will not crunch...I will not crunch...oops. Did I say that out loud? You will have balance problems with 5 strings, 2 trumpets, and organ, and an oboe. Buzz Saw oratorio. Oh, wait. I am sorry. That was the Messiah I just rehearsed.

"I don't compete", she said. I loved that response. In relation to trumpets and trucks it is important to know one's place. From Karen Allendoerfer
