![]() I love it!!!March 22, 2007 at 5:42 AM So from my understanding the photo was from the perlman music camp...possibly a charity event. Some one was kind enough to share another picture of Perlman which i find equally hilarious. Personally, I think it's wonderful that Perlman is such a great sport to do things like this and for a good cause. An inspiring teacher indeed.

Itzhak Perlman is my hero.Posted on March 22, 2007 at 6:00 AM Not to mention he can prolly sing better than Snow White too. From Elizabeth Smith
After seeing these pictures I admire him even more!

I think they're photoshop. Some of the best I've ever seen though. To me, the color temperatures of parts of the scene don't feel like they're the same.Posted on March 22, 2007 at 4:56 PM Maybe slight differences in sharpness in things in the same vertical plane, too. From Jim W. Miller
I like the black and white. Usually I think the violin in funny positions pictures are sorta strange. This one's different though; it's a good light-hearted portrait and conveys his personality; or gives that appearance, since I don't know him. The fingers are close enough to the well-recognized "crafty genius saying hmmm what next" position :) There are other things contributing too. Very good photographer, probably somebody hip at the time like Richard Avedon or Annie Leibovitz.

I guess it could be photoshop. It could also be that the scene is real but the photo was edited to enhance it. I just wonder who else plays violin in a motorized wheelchair...or why anyone would go to so much trouble to create this image.

Hey Itzhak, is it real? Tell us!

Don't know if that photo is the real thing or not, but I do know that Mr. Perlman did dress up as Snow White! Believe it was for the family concert at the PMP. They re-enacted a couple of short stories, including Snow White, with some students as dwarfs and Toby Perlman as Prince Charming. ;)
